UHA London, in collaboration with Versace Home, were appointed by Unity Group to design an iconic residential tower for New Delhi. At over 182 metres in height, this 46-storey tower will be the tallest residential structure in India’s capital city and forms the centrepiece of the 40-acre Amaryllis development, located at Karol Bagh just 4 km from India Gate.
The Tower silhouette is inspired by the ground-breaking Versace couture collections with sculpted, multi-layered semi-transparent structures strongly reminiscent of the unique dresses created by this iconic fashion brand.
The tower plan is composed of 2 oval floorplates connected by a central core, that allows panoramic views out across the city and inwards towards the central park area of the masterplan, which contains a luxury Clubhouse with waterbodies and generously landscaped grounds. The tower accommodates a total of one hundred sixty 4- and 5-bedroom luxury apartments.
An entrance canopy marks the entry to the grand lobby, with café, business centre and a unique Versace Gallery space. At level 20, around half-way up the tower, a sky garden with outdoor terraces punctuates the tower, providing an exclusive calm oasis for tower residents and their guests. The top of the East Wing houses an outdoor infinity pool, a spa and fine dining restaurant with breath-taking views towards the city government quarter. The top of west wing, which is the taller of the two, has a viewing deck, restaurant, cigar lounge with a rooftop helipad.
Construction of the tower which is already well under way by ACC (Arabian Construction Company), is set to be completed and ready for occupation by 2020.
