The design vocabulary intends to be dynamic & timeless, whilst optimizing the interior space planning. An elongated linear core to the south ‘self-shades’ the internal office space from glare and extreme south sun on this face of the building, while providing the most efficient floorplate for open or cellularised office space. The resulting north-facing office space benefits from floor to ceiling glazing to optimize natural daylight and maximize views.
The facade is articulated using a system of spandrel and opaque glazing panels - creating a dynamic and elegant external profile emphasizing the horizontality of the overall development and utilizing the corner position.
The design utilizes the prominent position at the junction of two busy roads. At the front, the building volume is raised on stilts, to give the overall expression of ‘lightness’ to the building and allow for covered/ secure parking with direct access to the entrance lobby.
This powerful and dynamic expression draws reference from the design of the most iconic designs of transportation. At the top of the building, the last floor level is set-back from the facade to create an exclusive roof terrace.
The modern yet timeless qualities of the development are further enhanced by the sophisticated material palette that combines clear glazing, Aluminium spandrels - together with exposed concrete at the base.
